Lay the Tiles
Start with the connecting pins facing right and bottom. Interlock the large tiles and build the main tray or tub floor layout row by row, keeping every tile facing the same direction.
How It Works
LockNMat is a modular ute tray and tub organiser designed for a simple DIY setup. Keep the tiles facing the correct direction, build the layout row by row, fit the filler pieces where required and position the 12 included locking blockers around the everyday gear you carry—without drilling, glue or permanent tray modification.
Simple Setup
LockNMat is designed for a practical DIY ute tub setup in many popular Australian dual-cab ute trays and tubs. Keep the tiles facing the correct direction, fit the filler pieces where required, then position the 12 included locking blockers around suitable everyday gear.
Start with the connecting pins facing right and bottom. Interlock the large tiles and build the main tray or tub floor layout row by row, keeping every tile facing the same direction.
Use the medium and small filler pieces where required to adjust the layout around the available tray or tub floor space. Keep the filler pieces facing the same direction as the main tiles.
Connect the 12 included blockers to compatible positions in the tile pattern and arrange them around toolboxes, cases, bags, buckets and other suitable everyday gear.
Important Setup Detail
Every main tile and filler piece must face the same direction so the connecting points line up correctly across the ute tray or tub floor.
Using the Blockers
The 12 included locking blockers connect to compatible positions across the tile pattern. Arrange them around suitable everyday gear to create adjustable storage zones, then reposition them when your ute tray or tub setup changes.
Before You Load the Tray
LockNMat is designed to make everyday ute tray and tub organisation more practical, but fitment can vary and every load must still be managed safely.
Tray shapes, tub liners, moulded edges and accessories vary between ute models. Because LockNMat layouts use whole tiles and filler pieces, a small side gap may remain—commonly around 20 mm and never more than 25 mm per side.
Install LockNMat on a reasonably clean and suitable tray or tub floor. Raised ribs, moulded liners, dirt buildup and uneven surfaces can affect how the tiles sit.
LockNMat helps organise suitable everyday gear such as toolboxes, bags, cases, buckets and camping equipment. It is not a replacement for proper load restraint.
Heavy, sharp, dangerous or legally restrained loads must always be secured separately using suitable rated straps, tie-downs or other approved restraint equipment.
