Simple setup

Three Main Steps.

The LockNMat system is designed for a practical DIY setup. Start with the modular tiles, use the filler pieces where needed, then place the blockers to help organise your everyday gear.

Important setup detail

Keep the Tile Direction Consistent.

For the cleanest layout, keep each tile facing the same direction as you build the mat. This helps the interlocking points line up correctly across the tray.

1
Start with one tile direction Keep the connecting points facing the same way as you begin the first row.
2
Build row by row Work across the tray, then continue the remaining rows with the same orientation.
3
Fit fillers where needed Use medium and small filler pieces to complete the practical tray layout.

Using the blockers

Position Blockers Around Everyday Gear.

The blockers are designed to help organise everyday ute tray loads and reduce movement. Move them around the mat depending on what you are carrying.

A
Toolboxes and cases Place blockers around the edges to help reduce everyday movement during normal driving.
B
Bags, buckets and loose gear Create small zones in the tray so everyday gear has a more organised place to sit.
C
Adjust when your load changes Reposition the blockers as your tray setup changes from job to job.

Before you load the tray

Important Setup Notes.

LockNMat is designed to make your tray more practical, but it should be used with common sense and proper load safety.

Fitment can vary

Tray shapes, liners and moulded edges can vary. Small side gaps may remain on some ute models.

Use on a suitable base

The system should sit on a clean tray surface. Raised ribs, liners and uneven tray shapes can affect how it sits.

Everyday gear only

LockNMat is intended to help organise everyday tray loads like boxes, bags, tool cases and buckets.

Heavy loads need proper restraint

Heavy, dangerous or legally restrained loads must be managed separately with proper straps, tie-downs or approved restraint methods.

LockNMat helps organise everyday tray loads and reduce movement. It is not a certified load restraint system. Heavy, dangerous or legally restrained loads must be managed separately with proper restraint.
